Thought it has been freezing here in Holland for over two weeks now, the ice is still lousy due to the snow that has been falling during that same period. But though proper skating is out of the question the children still have enormous fun on the ice:

I posted this picture already in colour but I liked the black and white version too. So here it is again. The lake is in Friesland in the north of The Netherlands and it is one of my favorite places to relax for a few days.
